DCF LLC is a fourth generation family owned company, with 80+ years of solid construction industry experience. The company was started during 1934 in Houston, Texas as Lupton Construction Co., Inc. by founder Robert H. Lupton, Sr. After WWII, his son, Robert H. Lupton, Jr., joined the company in 1945 after serving as an officer in the U.S. Army Air Force. For three decades, the company was a market leader, building large-scale FHA & VA housing subdivisions. During 1964, the company was moved to southwest New Mexico and for 15 years, developed & built regional housing subdivisions & large-scale company townsites for Phelps Dodge Corporation in Playas & Tyrone, New Mexico and Morenci, Arizona.
In 1979, Mr. Lupton, Jr. retired, the company was passed on to Lance H. Lupton & moved to Arizona. The economy was booming and the company continued the family tradition of building tract & custom home subdivisions, apartments and commercial buildings as a general contractor. In addition, as “we had always done our own work” instead of subcontracting all trades to other companies, the decision was made to start our own subcontracting divisions, which became hugely successful. In Arizona, the company subcontracted multiple trades on thousands of single-family homes and 100’s of multi-family projects from prominent national construction companies. Weary of “big city life”, the company was moved in 1993 to Oregon. Since that time the tradition continued, the company changed ownership and the name was changed to DCF LLC and worked regionally as a general contractor & subcontractor. General Contractor projects include 250+ single-family homes in Oregon & several hotels regionally. As a multi-trade subcontractor on 100’s of private projects, including tract & custom homes, multi-family, assisted living, hotels & commercial buildings.

Because high labor, material, land & financing costs result in tight profit margins, cutting corners has become general practice in the construction industry. Exceptions do exist and DCF LLC is proud to be among that elite group. We do it by watching overhead costs, 'kicking our own tires' and 'doing our own work'. One will always find us in the field during all phases of construction, quality checking whatever we build. By working closely with material suppliers, subcontractors, valued employees & clients, we want to be a valuable team member helping build the best possible product. Our efforts result in quality workmanship, solid comfort, livability, innovative styling, unique features & affordability.”
Key words are “by doing our own work”. Again, instead of subcontracting every trade, our company has always been active in all the trades except plumbing, HVAC, and electrical. From layout to trenching footings, setting concrete forms to building masonry walls, rough framing to roofing, drywall to doors & cabinets, painting to flooring, fencing to landscaping .. DCF LLC has done it all.
Today, DCF often employs 100-150 skilled workers and furnishes labor & material packages for multiple trades including: wood & metal rough framing, steel erection, fiber cement siding, stucco (EFIS), concrete & gypcrete. Our company is mobile, licensed in multiple western states & has the necessary experience, manpower, equipment, supplier contacts & resources to handle any size project.
Today and yesteryear, DCF continues family traditions and offer excellent workmanship, timely performance & competitive prices. We take pride in our work and strive to be a teammate on every project with owners, developers & general contractors.
